Leanne; Tattooist
Leanne has been tattooing since 1999. Prior to picking up a machine, she made needles, cleaned, sterilized and stenciled. Everything except tattooing itself. She fell in love with the art form and after 15 years of getting tattoos, had to learn how to do it herself.
Her background in art includes a college degree in graphics, but she never felt totally satisfied. Once she started tattooing, she finally had found her true place in life.
She worked as an apprentice for a year at Electric Images in Wisconsin, but her hometown beckoned her back. Once home, the search for a job resumed until she came upon Z Spot Body Art Studio Inc. She was offered the job in the spring of 2001, and is still there today... and if she has any say in it... will be there forever.
"I love to tattoo. It helps to define me. It allows me a way to express myself like nothing I could have ever imagined.
The family and atmosphere created for me here at Z Spot makes it a wonderful place to perform my art. Next to being Mom to my little girl, it's the best thing that could have happened for me."
