Z; Owner, Tattooist, Branding Artist, Body Piercer, Custom Jeweler
Z has been an artist in one form or another all of her life. She began collecting tattoos in 1983 and hasn't stopped yet. She was a custom jeweler for 20 years in the local jewelry industry and went on to the University of Pittsburgh to earn a BA in Film Production.
She only began tattooing in 1997 but took to it right away. She learned her art from the best in town including Heidi Helmich and Animal of Animal's All American Tattoo Emporium.
Z was trained and certified as a Branding Artist by Fakir Musafar in San Francisco in 1997. She was also trained in the art of body piercing by Body Piercer, Kristin Ronca.
